In collaboration with Nanoflex Robotics, a company developing telerobotic systems for the remote treatment of strokes using magnetically controlled catheters, I designed a new remote controller and revised the existing UX/UI.

The catheter is currently operated using a PS4 controller, which does not fully meet the requirements of a medical environment in terms of intuitiveness, professionalism and perceived safety.

The project focused on creating a dedicated workspace that gives the neurosurgeon a clear sense of control, stability and precision. The interface, controller and surrounding elements were developed as one coherent system, with all relevant functions clearly visible and accessible throughout the procedure.

The workstation combines powder-coated steel and stainless steel with medical-grade PC-ABS, selected for its durability and resistance to repeated cleaning and disinfection. Together, the materials create a robust, hygienic and precise environment suited to its clinical context.
